Typical swimming pool water has 3,000 parts per million of chlorine to mitigate the spread of germs.

ReCharge™ fabrics have 500 parts per million of chlorine after a normal wash with Clorox® bleach to protect you.

Activate with a normal wash with Clorox® Bleach

Wash with Bleach

ReCharge ™ fabric must be activated with a normal wash with an EPA Registered Bleach. Follow the Bleach instruction and you may wash with other articles of clothing that are white or Bleach safe from color fade…. like most polyester fabrics.

Drying

Normal drying for cotton and natural fibers will suffice to lock in the chlorine extracted from the bleach. When dry the garment is now active for 60 days. After you wear the garment within those 60 days, you should then Recharge the garment again with a Normal wash with Bleach.

Longevity

ReCharge ™ fabric is tested out to 50 launderings for efficacy. We use the AATCC 100 test to measure antimicrobial activity. We recommend retiring articles or using them for household wear after 50 launderings.

Masks

Masks using ReCharge™ technology may be activated with a hand wash or spray on bath according to the mask manufacturers instructions. Essentially mixtures of water and small amounts of EPA registered bleach that has been shaken may be able to renew a mask.
